Calculation and evaluation

The value calculation is carried out in three steps. In a first step, the value of a specific answer is captured. Subsequently, this value is assigned a weighting factor which establishes a ratio within the topics of an area that corresponds to the weight of the individual question.

As an example: In the area of appreciation, the answer to the question of how an employee assesses his salary payment in relation to his performance is weighted differently than the answer to the question of how and how often an employee receives personal appreciation within 52 weeks. These weightings are based on empirical studies regarding the relevance of measures that impact the employees’ motivation.

In a next step, all areas are weighted among each other based on a recipe of weightings that combines the different studies on employee satisfaction. This result generates a general emotional balance of an individual employee.

The view on the productivity of the company and its employees is based on a different weighting of the areas. This weighting can be adapted to the individual specifics of a company.

Company evaluation:

The productivity results are represented in three performance ranges (different colors):

1.) Bad performance / Red range: 20-80%
2.) Normal performance / Yellow range: 81-120%,
3.) High performance / Blue range: 121-180%.

Partial evaluations of the ten areas are:

1.) Productivity potentials in terms of time
2.) Potentials in terms of quality
